The Dimple Twist glass dildo is a lot smaller than I expected with a total of 6 inches in length, and 4 inches insertable. It has a width of 1 inch. It is designed to stimulate the most sensitive part of the vagina near the opening. It arrived in plain packaging wrapped in bubble wrap to save waste, and complete with a storage pouch. I do appreciate a good storage bag to store products, however the bag provided is twice the size of the glass dildo so be careful whilst storing to ensure it doesn’t get damaged.
On first appearances, the Dimple Twist glass dildo reminds me somewhat of a lemon squeezer. Yes, you read that right. I don’t think it would look too much out of place in a kitchen as a fancy appliance. The bulbous head of the toy has six line indents, hence why it reminds me of such an object. The raised spiral down the shaft of the dildo adds to the twists name, in a beautiful shade of green. There is no concern of this rubbing off as the color is within the glass. The base of the toy is about 10mm thick. It has eight raised bumps which are designed to stimulate further as the handle attached is turned.
Made of high quality, medical grade, lead free borosilicate glass, this toy is shatterproof and very strong so unlikely to break easily. If it ever were to have damage, this toy is covered by a Lifetime Warranty. It is non-porous, non-toxic and hypoallergenic. It can be heated or cooled in warm/cool water. Personally I wouldn’t advise to put the toy in the freezer, but if you chose to then make sure you run cold water over it before use otherwise you will have the ‘tongue stuck to a cold pole’ affect.
It is easy to clean with warm water and antibacterial toy spray. You may need to use a toothbrush to get in the grooves.
The glass dildo is quite cold to begin with but warms up quickly to your bodies temperature. For a start you have to get used to the fact that this isn’t an ‘in out’ kind of toy. You can of course use it this way, however really you should turn it inside yourself. I found it quite tricky to turn using the handle as it requires you to make a full circular motion which makes my arm ache, so I grip the toy at each side and use an unscrewing motion which seems easier. Also, turning clockwise or anti clockwise can make a huge difference to the ease of it. The bulbous head really challenges the vaginal wall muscles as they contract around it which creates a much stronger orgasm. I couldn’t really feel the swirl pattern on the shaft, and as I pushed the dimple bumps on the base into me it made it much trickier to turn.
As the Dimple Twist has a flared base it can also be used anally, although this does make it even trickier to turn fully, but a slight side to side action feels good.
Overall a fantastic quality toy which adds a whole new dimension to glass toys. I was able to orgasm with this toy alone which I am unable to do with many others!
