We are all about having sex positive celebrations. As May was Masturbation Month, it is best to head up on the bandwagon and celebrate Adult Sex Education Month. This is something that everyone should believe in. Adult Sex Ed is what it is all about. Bobbie Morgan, the founder of A Good Woman’s Dirty Mind and creator of Adult Sex Ed month. She was a successful sex blogger and she was the reason that this celebration was created. However, she has passed away, but her teachings are something that will keep moving forward.
Bobbie truly believed that there was a need for culture change in how people talk about sex. The embarrassment and shame needed to be taken out of the equation and that there was a lot more room for credible and intelligent information about sex. What she started helped to create the conversations around sexual education for adults. The aim was to bring sex educators, bloggers, sex journalists and the sex industry together and boost the word about healthy communication about sex and provide a place for credible, intelligent and blunt information about it for adults.
Bobbie’s voice is no longer out there pushing us to communicate in cyberspace anymore and she is going to be missed and it is a shame that she isn’t around to see what she started, but Adult Sex Ed month is going to keep happening and there will always be plenty of educational content for adults in the world of sex.
