The Ultimate G did not work for me personally as I prefer toys which can be used with movement.
The Ultimate G Vibrator is the latest part of Ann Summers new range to create the experience of a third level orgasm. It is developed in conjunction with medical experts. It’s purpose? ‘To offer you a new, blended orgasmic experience.’
Packaging
The Ultimate G comes packaged in a clear plastic box with black cardboard inserts which is inline with the rest of the Ultimate Range. The packaging features an image of the Ultimate G with text and when turned over you can see the Ultimate G sitting in moulded black plastic. When the toy is removed it is hard to read the details of the toy as the writing is in white. Ann Summers state that you should store the toy in the packaging provided, however I would not recommend this as the packaging is somewhat cheap. A fabric storage bag would do nicely.
In the box with the Ultimate G is the UK mains plug charger and a very small paper instruction leaflet.
Aesthetics/Material
The Ultimate G is made of 100% silicone which is latex, phthalate and cadmium free. It is soft to touch and has the Ann Summers logo embossed near the base. The Ultimate G is not waterproof. To look at it, my first thought was that it resembled a pink dinosaur, so I put it in a purple dress, as you do. It is not your typically shaped rabbit vibrator, however it still has the garish pink color which Ann Summers is known for.
The bent head is flexible but firm and has seven V shaped ridges. On the ‘neck’ there are several raised lines and the arms feature seven raised bumps which look like mini toothbrush heads. When they say this toy was designed by ‘medical experts’, were they dentists?
The Ultimate G can also be used with The Ultimate O nestled in-between it’s arms.
Charging
The Ultimate G is rechargable. It is recommended to charge the Ultimate G for four hours before first and second use. The jack lead inserts into the base of the toy and a red light on the plug should turn to green when fully charged. This is a useful feature as if you’re anything like me and tend to forget to time things.
Lock
This toy does not feature a lock.
Functions
The controls for the main shaft are featured on the right hand side of the control panel. To turn the main shaft on/off press the top button. To increase the vibration press + and to decrease press -. The lights on the right side of the toy will brighten or dull in accordance to whether you increase or decrease the vibrations. I like this as I am able to tell when I have correctly pushed a button. There are many different vibrations settings of continual vibration for the main shaft.
The controls for the clitoral arms are located on the left hand side of the panel. In the same way as before the top button is for on/off and the + and – flicks through the six different vibrating patterns. The lights flash to different colors and pulses as you change patterns. This annoys me slightly. The different colors to be able to recognize your favorite setting is good, but is the flashing and pulsing really necessary? Just add a disco ball down there and you’d have a party.
Cleaning
As the toy is not waterproof, needless to say, do not put it anywhere near water. Use some wipes and antibacterial toy spray to clean making sure you get into all the grooves.
In Use
The Ultimate G is said to be whisper quiet. If you just have the main shaft turned on then it is rather quiet, but the moment the arms a put to use it sounds like a lawn mower.
The main shaft seems to lack vibration and I when I first turned the toy on I was unaware that I even had the shaft on as the arms of the toy are so over powering. The shaft settings are a variable degree of vibrations, which even on the highest isn’t much of a tickle and lacks patterns. The arms of the toy are all one high vibration through different patterns and lack the ability to have one constant speed or to be able to change the intensity.
I could not tell where exactly the head of the toy was hitting me as I could not feel it nor the ridges and the arms of the toy I found difficult to adjust into the right place of my ‘inner clitoris’. This isn’t your usual ‘in out’ toy, in fact, if I were to even attempt to move it too much it made me very uncomfortable. It’s more of a ‘put it there and leave it to do it’s thing’ toy. According to the diagram in the leaflet, you need around 10 – 20 minutes to take you to the supposed third orgasm. I was bored after five minutes and starting to feel a bit numb on the outside and nothing inside, not to mention the distraction of the disco lights whilst trying to relax.
Summary
For a toy of this expense I would have at least expected it to be waterproof and with more substantial packaging. The toy itself bored me rather than creating any sort of orgasm, and did not manage to stimulate my G spot or my clitoris. Of course this is just my personal experience of the toy with my body, it may work well for others.
