I always love getting parcels, and with the plain packaging from Lovehoney no one knew what it was waiting on my doorstep; The Tracey Cox Supersex Remote Control Vibrator Love Egg
It’s quite an expensive egg vibrator but with free delivery it seems verging on reasonable.
I’m a bit of a nightmare for throwing away packaging, but this time I’m keeping it as it isn’t too bulky and works well for storing the egg.
As L wasn’t around when the egg arrived, I had a play with it myself. The instructions were easy to follow, well, it’s never that complicated to put batteries in a toy is it! The egg unscrews for two of the batteries, and another battery to go in the remote. The batteries are thankfully included with the product, there is nothing worse than buying a new toy and then having to hunt the house to find batteries! It does use some strange batteries though, 1 x 23A battery and 2 x N batteries. Must admit, I’ve never even heard of these types.
It is made of smooth coated plastic, and aesthetically pleasing with a silver band around the egg where it unscrews. When I first looked at it, the size did seem a bit big. However in comparison to vibrators, it’s about the same girth with a 4.5 inch circumference. I think it’s just the fact it looks like a fat tampon. The thought of getting it stuck there did cross my mind, all those pelvic floor exercises may have a downside! The cord is strong so removing the sex toy wasn’t a problem at all.
I felt the vibrations in my hand and flicked through the seven different speeds and patterns, then with a little water based lube, I inserted it easily. The shape and feel of the egg are very comfortable, and it feels snug when inserted. You don’t need to be told to leave the cord out right? The first three settings are the vibrations, but the fun starts when you get onto the pattered settings.
It makes quite a loud buzzing sound, but once inserted, I actually couldn’t feel much on the lower settings. I placed my hand on my stomach and I could feel it vibrating and after playing around with the remote found the rhythm I liked.
I didn’t want to play too much though, as it’s a partners toy and designed for teasing so I packed it up and waited for L to come play.
The remote is said to work up to 10 metres away, so a few days later when L was watching TV, I snook around the house in my lingerie, egg inserted, and threw him the remote control and waited anxiously, expecting my body to suddenly start buzzing. Nothing. I waited longer. Nothing. L came in, we soon discovered that it had ran out of battery!
As a toy for teasing and foreplay, the egg is ideal. It’s not intended to make you orgasm, so don’t get your hopes up. For a warm up however and some fun with a partner, it cannot be faulted. As long as you have plenty of batteries!
